My approach to life and my coaching practice is that I live what I teach and I teach what I live.
After years in dead end jobs, unfulfilling relationships, and feeling like I was floundering through life, I decided it was time to take charge of my destiny and make some changes. My personal path has taken me from breath work and meditation, to spiritual understanding, to coaching, and then to Fearless Living. Each of these methods of growth and transformation have had a profound effect on my life and how I view the world.
It was through my personal path that I decided this was the work that called to my heart. I have been assisting individuals, couples and groups in the process of self-discovery since 1986. It has been an amazing process as I witness my clients transform from a caterpillar into a butterfly. In addition to private sessions I have taught many classes over the years, ranging from motivational talks, to retreats, to nine month certification programs. I bring a unique balance of compassion, common sense, wisdom, fortitude, and humor to my work.
Along the way I learned that seeing the gifts in others, before they can see it for themselves, creates a vortex through which change is possible.
This is my family. Greg and I have been married since 1990. We have traveled the ups and downs of life together and know that in order to stay connected we need to work on it a bit. That's one of the most common relationship myths - if I'm with the right person it won't be hard. Sadly life is always going to persent challenges that feel hard and relationships push us to grow in ways we didn't even know we were lacking in. So in our relationship, we work on so we can stay connected and committed to our partnership and be available for our kids - Amber and Tyler.
Amber is a beautiful soul and an aspiring baker. She loves creating in the kitchen and has won several baking contests. She enjoys succeeding in school or any adventure and is simply delightful to be around. We love shopping, baking and watching sappy movies together. Having a daughter is one of God's greatest gifts to me.
Tyler is an inline hockey player and the social butterfly of our family. He keeps me laughing and reminds me that life always unfolds for the best. He is quick to hug and enjoys asking for what he needs. He is a shining star on my path and a joy in my heart.
