This program is designed for the established coach who wants support in growing their coaching skills or in applying for their ACC (Associate Certified Coach) credential with the International Coach Federation (ICF); or for the professional (Therapist, Social Worker, School Counselor, Human Resources Personnel, etc.) who already works one-on-one with clients and wants to be able to use effective coaching skills in their current practice.
This program will revisit or teach you the basics of coaching, build on your current strengths, guide you through coaching challenges that may arise, and give you more ways to effectively support your clients.
Included in this option are:
Mentoring time with Jerilyn (we will decide together how many hours would best fit your situation).
Part of the mentoring hours will be used to strengthen your understanding of the ICF Core Competencies and the ICF Code of Ethics
Part of the hours will be used to listen to recorded sessions of you coaching clients and give feedback, suggestions, and skills to better serve your clients.
We will also cover questions regarding the difference between your current profession and coaching. As well as how coaching will enhance your current profession.
If needed or desired, a letter of recommendation will be provided at the end of a minimum of 5 hours of mentoring with Jerilyn
Fee for this program: $150 per hour, paid prior to each scheduled session. 20% discount ($120 per hour) if 4 or more sessions are prepaid.
This program is designed for the person who has a strong desire to become a coach yet has no training in the field. This person wants in-depth, well rounded work that will build a solid, sustainable foundation as a professional coach. This program will: ·teach the basics of coaching, ·educate you on the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics, ·show you how to guide a client through the journey of coaching ·help you create handouts and homework pages for clients ·give you a solid skills set and working knowledge of the coaching process so you are ready to jump in and build your practice.
Requirements of Option 2:
15 or more Mentoring hours (meeting 2-4 times a month) used to:
*Build an understanding of the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics *Learn the fundamentals of coaching. *Get feedback on your coaching skills through recorded calls with your clients. Referred to as Audio Playbacks – your coaching session is recorded, sent to Jerilyn, she sets it up to play back while on the phone with you, starting and stopping the recording to give you feedback. *Flush out specific and vital coaching skills:
§creating a safe environment for your clients, §open vs. closed questions, §teaching and explaining vs. coaching, §asking powerful questions, §pacing your sessions with clients §trusting your instincts during the coaching process §information and skills to create handouts and homework pages for your clients. You will read at least three recommended coaching books and two personal growth books. Create a synopsis that is sent to Jerilyn, on how each book impacted you and how you will use the information with clients.
A minimum of 30 hours of coaching clients so when you finish with your mentoring sessions you have a basic foundation in your coaching skills and know more about what you have to offer your clients.
Fee for this program: $125 per hour, paid prior to each scheduled session. 20% discount ($100 per hour) if 4 or more sessions are prepaid at one time.
